Harry Potter

Comments Off

Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of the eponymous adolescent wizard Harry Potter, together with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his friends from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The central story arc concerns Harry's struggle against the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents in his quest to conquer the wizarding world and subjugate non-magical (Muggle) people to his rule. Several successful derivative films, video games and other themed merchandise have been based upon the series.

Since the 1997 release of the first novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which was retitled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States, the books have gained immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. As of June 2008, the book series has sold more than 400 million copies and has been translated into 67 languages, and the last four books have consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history.

English-language versions of the books are published by Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom, Scholastic Press in the United States, Allen & Unwin in Australia, and Raincoast Books in Canada. Thus far, the first five books have been made into a series of motion pictures by Warner Bros. The sixth, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is scheduled for release on 17 July 2009. The series also originated much tie-in merchandise, making the Harry Potter brand worth £7 billion (US$15 billion).

i love this item! it was well worth the wait & price!! delivered on time. Thank You

I learned everything about lightwedge H.Potter Lumos Book Light before I purchased. Thank you very much.

It works for what it's worth. On some books you can see the print on the other page too easily. The on switch is really cheap feeling and requires a couple flips on and off to work right.

I like the book light a lot. It is much easier to use than the traditional book lights. The only thing I would warn someone about before buying one, is that it does scratch very easily. I scratched it just trying to get the batteries in, and again when moving the guide clip. Use the case (purchase separately) or protect it with a soft towel or something. Otherwise, great product!

This device is the same optically as the original Light Wedge. Good idea, poorly executed. The meager 2 LEDs used simply do not provide anywhere near enough light for comfortable reading. The plastic wedge is a clever means to distribute the light, but it is easily scratched and static prone. If this device was scaled up to use 4 or 5 LEDs and a glass wedge, it would be great, and likely would cost a bit more.

Harry Potter Harry Potter "Order of the Phoenix" Fleece Blanket (Measures Approximately 50" x 60")

I wish I had paid more attention to the previous reviews before I purchased this blanket for my mother. The red color on Harry's lips and his scar is shocking. It looks like someone took a red marker and traced over them. If it wasn't for that, I would have given this blanket 4 stars. It could also be a little thicker.

my mom got me this blanket as a gift, (i am 22) because i love the harry potter books series, and it is absolutely beautiful. the quality was surprising-- it is a lightweight blanket, which is perfect for texas nights. the graphic design is intricate and very detailed; it's almost as if you're looking at a photograph. i am very pleased with the quality of this blanket, and at such a great price!

The throw was made from a much thinner fabic than expected; no "plush" about it. So, the price was too high for the quality, but, it is Harry Potter after all.....

To start out: This blanket is a pretty great product. I'm a sixteen year old and I didn't really buy it to USE it, per se. It's more of a "Look at me, I'm a huge nerd!" kind of thing. There are only two real negatives about it: 1) IF YOU DID purchase this blanket to keep you warm, then you might want to look elsewhere. It's fleece, yes, but it's thin fleece, and it isn't going to make you REALLY warm and toasty. 2) The color is kind of . . . the reds are RED. Especially his lips, so it kind of looks like he's wearing some intense lipstick. Otherwise it looks pretty much exactly like the picture. I paid ten bucks, so I'm pretty pleased :-)

I used this as a hanging backdrop for my Harry Potter collection display. It hangs in front of a window so during the day it is backlit and at night the lights from the apartment outdoor lights also backlight it. It looks very good hanging up there and makes the display really pop.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

I am a big fan of Harry Potter (as are most of us :) ) I also love instrumental music. This CD has both the great themes of HP along with beautiful instrumentals. I would recomend for any HP fan or any instrumental fan!

John Williams essentially made the world of Harry Potter wizards with this soundtrack. The classic introduction and Harry Potter themes are continued throughout the series. It's just too bad Williams couldn't do the rest of the movies.

Having seen all Harry Potter movies thru the Half Blood Prince, I decided it was time to read the books. Several had been given to me as gifts and others I purchased new recently from Amazon. I loved several of the movie music themes, especially the well-recognized Hedwig's Theme. The original motion picture soundtrack CD is wonderful mood music to play in the background while reading Harry Potter books. I've read Books one thru seven and Beedle the Bard in a little over a month's time. Kept me out of trouble - and I'm a "Senior Citizen." The music is beautiful but, then, anything John Williams does usually is, e.g. Star Wars, etc.

John Williams at his best... a great performance by everyone involved... if you love the movie this soundtrack will transport you to the world of Harry Potter..

John Williams continues to amaze me! This soundtrack is not only a worthy companion to the movie, but to the books as well. He captures all the magic of JK Rowling's work at each and every turn. Hedwig's Theme, to me, should go down as one of the greatest music passages of all time. It's so myterious and magnificiently magical. (That's sort of corny, I know, but it's true!) Now here's hoping he's back for Deathly Hallows.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

First things first, I'm a fan of the Potter franchise, so my default position is to want to like each new installment in it, regardless of what medium it's in. I was a fan of Hooper's score for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," I liked his motifs for Dolores Umbridge, the Weasley twins, and Dumbledore's army. That being said, I really thought there was a bit too much rehashing of those themes in the score for "Half-Blood Prince," and not enough developing of new themes. There were atmospherics, to be sure, and the whole album comes off as being predominantly somber, which is appropriate, given the events of the story, but I would have liked more dedicated themes and motifs. I was actually distracted, while watching the film, going "Is this the same theme they used for the 'Fireworks' cue in 'Order of the Phoenix?' Yeah, I think it is!" They're good themes, sure, but one does want a bit more originality in the penultimate storyline of the series. So, technically, more than competent, but I found myself wanting more.

1. "Opening" 2:53 2. "In Noctem" 2:00 3. "The Story Begins" 2:05 4. "Ginny" 1:30 5. "Snape & the Unbreakable Vow" 2:50 6. "Wizard Wheezes" 1:42 7. "Dumbledore's Speech" 1:31 8. "Living Death" 1:55 9. "Into the Pensieve" 1:45 10. "The Book" 1:44 11. "Ron's Victory" 1:44 12. "Harry & Hermione" 2:52 13. "School!" 1:05 14. "Malfoy's Mission" 2:53 15. "The Slug Party" 2:11 16. "Into the Rushes" 2:33 17. "Farewell Aragog" 2:08 18. "Dumbledore's Foreboding" 1:18 19. "Of Love & War" 1:17 20. "When Ginny Kissed Harry" 2:38 21. "Slughorn's Confession" 3:33 22. "Journey to the Cave" 3:08 23. "The Drink of Despair" 2:44 24. "Inferi in the Firestorm" 1:53 25. "The Killing of Dumbledore" 3:34 26. "Dumbledore's Farewell" 2:22 27. "The Friends" 2:00 28. "The Weasley Stomp" 2:51

It's a good score, it does not feel like a Harry Potter score. It's dark and very different but yet some what good in it's own way, only wish it had more of Hedwig's Theme. Personaly I wish John Williams would have composed the entire Harry Potter series. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I don't usually write a review unless I can be positive so I'll start that way then tell you what I really think. Ordering from Amazon is a good experience. The CD arrived much faster than I expected and was/is in excellent condition. The music on the CD is a disappointment. After John Williams and Patrick Doyle I can't fathom why the people behind the Harry Potter franchise would go to Nicholas Hooper. With Williams and Doyle you have the feeling that there is a lot more going on even when all you hear is a quick vignette to go with a short scene. Hooper could be writing commercial jingles for all the complexity and depth he shows.

I've been listening to this score for almost a month now and it keeps growing on me. Here are my favorites so far: Opening, In Noctem, Dumbledore, Dumbledore's Foreboding, Inferi, Harry & Hermione. These tracks are quite durable and I think it will be a while before I give them a break on my playlists. That said, not all of the tracks are gold. Some of them are quite generic unfortunately. I really see this album as Nicholas Hooper growing. I feel that he's added an element of realism to Harry Potter that Williams's brilliant music did not(John's was more fairytale-ish). I look forward to seeing who will take the job next. Speculation is that it may be Williams again? Any other suggestions for Deathly Hallows?

The sixth installment in the film franchise. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same. The score features music by Nicholas Hooper, who took the reigns as composer during the last film, "Order Of The Phoenix".

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Reviews

This is easily the best Harry Potter soundtrack thus far. John Williams manages to capture a distinct and darker mood for the film. The themes for Lupen's talks with Harry and for Sirius are really touching. While the other soundtracks are OK, Azaban is actually memorable.

the soundtrack is easy to follow the sequence of the movie. I listen to it frequently to unwind.

The greatest thing about this soundtrack is the pure creativity that fuels the entire thing from start to finish. Williams did good work on the first two films, using all the expected instruments in the expected style for a fantasy film, and of course adding his magic touch to make it, well, magical. Here, he goes beyond what he did for the first two films. The soundtrack starts off with Hedwig's Theme, which serves as the identity for the Harry Potter series. Anyone would have expected this. Then, in the second track, he does something different, and he writes a Tchaikovsky-esque comedy sequence that in the film, accompanies Aunt Marge's scene. This is a fun cue that for the most part is detached from the rest of the score, but it is hilarious and fits its part perfectly. The next track, The Knight Bus, starts off with a bassoon solo that is a perfect fit for Stan Shunpike. Then suddenly, the track bursts into wild jazz, which is a perfect fit for the Knight Bus (sorry if I'm starting to sound like a broken record!). This track recalls a past Williams score, Catch Me If You Can. The next major track, Double Trouble, contains the new major theme for Prisoner of Azakban, and again, it is something different: it takes Shakespeare lyrics and matches it with music that sounds almost Baroque. Thus, we have the first three major tracks that are Romantic, Jazz, and Baroque. Then, we get into the heart of the soundtrack. Buckbeak's theme is soaring and gusty and wonderful, and rivals the music Williams wrote for E.T.'s flying scene oh so many years ago. Then, we are introduced to the other major theme of Prisoner of Azakban, a Window to the Past, which is played on some sort of flute or piccolo. It plainly speaks of solitude and love, and is one of the highlights of the score. I could go on and on about every track, but that would make this review stupidly long. So, I'll just talk about one more track: Quidditch, Third Year. I can't even fathom how much inspiration must have been behind this track. The strings, winds, and brass are all in a flurry in this track. Basically, it is a fugue, with a main motif and a ton of highly complex music to go along with it. It's fun listening to it and trying to wrap your mind around everything that's happening. I'd be prepared to bet that Williams worked harder on the Quidditch scene, then the people in the Visual Effects department, and that's saying something. Another highlight of the score is the little motif for Wormtail and Sirius Black. Simple but creepy, William employs it whenever Wormtail and/or Sirius are near. Overall, Prisoner of Azakban is a highly effective score, and chock full of creativty, but also substance. If it has a weakness, it is that it doesn't use many of the great motifs that were used in the first two films, although I think this has much to do with the new director--I honestly can't imagine Voldemort's theme from the first film being used in Alfonso Cuaron's Harry Potter film. I wish this score had won the Oscar, but alas, Williams will have to win his sixth another time. Still, I can give this score a great recommendation.

Thsi movie was the best, the book is the best and the soundtrack of the movie is the best! I guess it's the power of 3 or something. I've grown up enjoying John Williams music, and now I really ejoy Harry Potter so to have Williams as the composer of some of the movies is one of the best possible combinations of awesomeness I've ever found!

This is the only HP soundtrack I can listen to over and over again without getting sick of it. It's got the familiar "Hedwig's Theme", plus the wickedly fun "Aunt Marge's Waltz" and the hold-on-to-your-hats "The Knight Bus" and "Buckbeak's Flight". My favorite track, though, is probably "Mischief Managed", which incorporates nearly all the previous tracks in reverse order. Love it!

Received product in excellent condition in a timely manner without any problems. I would use the system to purchase items again and inform my friends of my satisfaction.

I found this the least satisfactory of the films. The new director apparently took it for granted that the audience had read the books and didn't find it important to explain things. Not only that, he sabotaged the screenwriter's plot exposition: when Fudge is explaining the resolution of the Aunt Marge plot the director tries to distract the audience with a dancing hunchback; later when McGonagall explains Black's (supposed) crimes to Rosmerta, the director has Fudge blocking the view of the women talking. Then Hermione just happens to have a time-travel charm on her necklace -- no explanation of how she got it, or why she didn't use it earlier. Some good ideas: having the choir sing Shakespeare's "Someone wicked this way comes"; the talking head; the idea of having the students dress in normal clothes instead of robes during their off hours (presumably Rowling agreed, and the subsequent movies followed it up); Thewlis, with that sickly look, was the perfect choice for Lupin. But the central story ought to make sense.

I was surprised to discover that the third Harry Potter film was to be directed by none other than art-house favorite Mr. "Y Tu Mama Tambien" himself, Alfonso Cuaron. While I rejoiced Chris Columbus' departure, I was a bit hesitant if Cuaron could take Harry in the direction he so desperately needed to go. However, choosing Cuaron as director of "Azkaban" wasn't necessarily a complete shot in the dark. In 1995, Cuaron directed the very under-appreciated but very enchanting, "A Little Princess," an adaptation of the classic children's story. It's interesting that in nearly ten years, Cuaron had not attached himself to another children's story. That was until 2004's "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," the very best Potter film to date (though they are all quite consistently good). Something amazing happens in "Azkaban." Yes, the film is "darker" and obviously more intelligent than its two previous predecessors, but most importantly, "Azkaban" feels like a valid piece of filmmaking! The bar has been raised with this particular entry. It's hard to imagine what kind of films the current three successors would be had Cuaron not directed "Azkaban."

Alfonso Cuarón comes on as the new director of this series and adds the magic that was missing from the earlier films. The cast is still fun and the blue ray dvd is an improvement on the regular dvd

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is easily the best of the Harry Potter films. It has an emotional richness that rises above some of the silliness of the other films. Prof. Lupen as the new teacher and Sirius Black are both strong and complex characters, both with their inner demons and hidden strengths. Lupen and Potter's talks are amongst the most moving moments in the entire series - talks about finding a mentor and retaining one's confidence in the face of fear. John Williams' soundtrack is excellent and really sets the mood. Even if you're not a Harry Potter fan, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is still worth checking out.

Some movie-loving wizards must have cast a magic spell on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, because it's another grand slam for the Harry Potter franchise. Demonstrating remarkable versatility after the arthouse success of Y Tu Mamá También, director Alfonso Cuarón proves a perfect choice to guide Harry, Hermione, and Ron into treacherous puberty as the now 13-year-old students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry face a new and daunting challenge: Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped from Azkaban prison, and for reasons yet unknown (unless, of course, you've read J...

My family loves this movie. It is definitely a classic and we have watched it a hundred times.

I bought this for my Fiancé for Christmas to replace her old VHS copy. She was really happy and excited to finally have it on DVD. It was shipped quickly and it was cheap. I signed up for the thing that gives you free shipping if you get stuff through amazon and so shipping was totally free!!

This was the first time I had tried ordering something used on Amazon, and I couldn't be happier! The box is in great condition, considering that it can be hard to keep cardboard boxes in good condition... and the DVD plays perfectly!

not the greatest movie, but i like having a visual interaction with the world of hogwarts

I think this is one of the least successful Harry Potter movies, but's mainly the book's fault. Rowling was trying to copy the success of PHILOSOPHER'S STONE, but hadn't figured out how to scale it up to a big series yet. So once again we have a story that ends up with (1) Harry and a best friend figuring out how to get in a trap door (2) The best friend getting waylaid halfway through and sending Harry away. (3) Harry confronting an evil wizard underground. Other problems: To an adult reader/viewer, Lockhart is an obvious fraud from the start, yet it takes everybody in the story forever to catch on. Branaugh fleshed him out a little, but he's still tiresome. So Harry and Ron think it's OK to put drugs in candy as part of their investigation? So Hermione turns herself into a cat by accident and it takes several weeks to wear off. And nobody in the school administration asks how it happened (if they did, and found out about the drug angle, the trio would probably be expelled) So Ginny is depressed and alienated, and neither her brother Ron nor the perceptive Hermione notices anything. Doesn't that make them look insensitive?

The box arrived on time and in perfect condition. The artwork is beautiful and the extra material is very addicting. I cannot wait for the other movies!

Again, like the first one, it has more info on the 2nd disc that makes it interesting. Love it.

It was shipped quickly and for free since it was from Amazon and I was signed up for the free shipping thing. You might want to look into that if you buy a lot! I think it was something like $75 for the year for free shipping for everything from Amazon and you can usually find whatever you want from them and get free shipping and if it's $5 each time that will add up quickly!

This was purchased for a huge potter fan. She loves all the movies and books and this is one of her favorites. The additional scenes are great and the interviews and segments on how scenes were made are wonderful.

I bought this for my son's bedroom and he absolutely loves it! It is made of a pretty nice material and the colors really do pop on his wall.

Having spent less than $20 on this product, I wasn't expecting anything too fancy. It's a very nice, relatively good-quality wall hanging. The colors are great and the detailing is very good. The top and bottom frames are a little flimsy--made of somewhat cheap plastic, but they're durable enough to hold this light-weight hanging. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Gryffindor (as you should) and who wants something nice to hang on their wall.

I used the Torx bits to open and repair an electronic device, at first things were going great and then the cheap plastic piece that held the bits in place broke on me while attempting to unscrew the last two screws and rendered the entire set useless. I then had to go out and buy another more expensive set elsewhere. Buyer Beware the bits are strong the holder is cheap.

I bought this for the #00 Phillips and the TORX T6 to open up my macbook pro. The TORX T6 worked but I found the #00 Phillips did not. The plastic handle is very cheap too and a broke it within about 5 minutes of use. Shipping was prompt though and the price was hard to beat.

I'm happy with this set of screw driver bit set. It is not for heavy duty work but it works well for the light or smaller jobs.

This franchise is one of the few that can safely refute the old adage that sequels are never as good as the original. Indeed, it's something of an amazement how the Potter franchise has managed to maintain such quality of filmmaking after so many sequels. I think that's why interest is still so high for these films after so many years and probably why the final book is being split into 2 films, to milk it for all they can - not to imply the story isn't worth it; I'm glad their are two more films to look forward to rather than just one. But, as with most of the other larger book translations (eg. Goblet of Fire) there was a lot of interesting moments cut from the film rendition that we can only hope may someday be restored in the eventual ultimate BD editions ala the first two films (assuming they were actually shot). As is, the sixth film in the Potter franchise plays more like a filler to build anticipation for the final installments, than a self-contained story with a unique and notable purpose of its own. The series has become progressively darker and more mature with each installment and this is no exception. Gone is much of the innocense and naive wonder that built this esoteric cobblestone world. But for those of us so enthralled, seeing it visually imagined as capably, dare I say, brilliantly, can be reward enough (assuming the final chapters make up for the story that this one lacks) even if there is little payoff in the end. As for the BD, I think Warner's authoring has gradually improved over the past couple of years. The days of their masters being biased for the limitations of the DVD format seems to be drifting further and further behind - at least for new release titles. Most of their catalog HD offerings still tend to be a little lacking in detail - often more than a little. But with films that have been recently mastered like this one, there's little reason to complain, based on 1080p/24 projection onto a 100" screen (smaller displays will no doubt be more foregiving, just as larger projected images could magnify problems I didn't notice or at least didn't find too cumbersome).

This item came exactly as described and shipped super fast. I'd recommend this seller and would do business with them again.

This is a great Movie! Some changes from the book but all in all a winner if you love Harry! The characters are becoming more mature with the seriousness of the threat of the deatheaters. My 'used' DVD arrived looking just like one off the shelf!

No Harry Potter fan will miss seeing it. We'll all buy it no matter what any review says. I've read all the books and bought all the movies. This movie might be better for those who haven't. Director Yates has obviously got a broken wand. I'm not sure why he felt it necessary to not only rewrite the book's story line but to reinvent the environment. Hogwarts, the Weasley house and their surroundings have no continuity to previous films. Why? Like most fans I looked forward to this movie. I held off until I could get the special edition which I preordered. I was so disappointed after watching the first hour or so that it took me over two months to finally watch the whole movie. At least our expectations have been lowered to the point that the next movie may seem better. It may not be a bad movie in itself but when you love the book and the movie title is "Moby Dick" you don't expect to get "Free Willie". We'll all buy the next two Yates interpretations which will make his sales statistics look great. Who knows. Maybe magic will happen and he'll get a new wand. Since he butchered many of the lead ins to the last book my hopes are low. But who knows, he didn't do such a bad job on Order of the Phoenix.

I originally bought a new one for the release date in December, when it came it would not play. Amazon refunded the money and sent me another. It played, and the whole process was quick and easy. So Amazon needs to get into selling things on their own, some of the comapnies they sell for do not do as good a job or are impossible to get a refund from.

The sixth installment of the Harry Potter series begins right where The Order of the Phoenix left off. The wizarding world is rocked by the news that "He Who Must Not Be Named" has truly returned, and the audience finally knows that Harry is "the Chosen One"--the only wizard who can defeat Lord Voldemort in the end...

good movie for a good price. came when it was suppost to, no issues at all 5 stars

Although this is the most watered down film in the series, it's not the worst, and it's not bad. Personally, I do agree with many of you that many essential plot developments were excised from OOTP, but after reading Deathly Hallows, I realized how unimportant some of those plotlines or revelations were. When I first saw this movie in theaters, I was left a little bewildered that they would cut out most of the prophecy made by Trelawney in the orb; the entire (spoiler alert) dialogue about Neville almost suffering Harry's fate (end spoiler) was left out, and I thought that that would be an essential revelation for DH, but after reading the book, I figured out, it wasn't. So, all in all, I felt the film was not missing anything as a film. Yes, if did not have the all-around action Goblet of Fire had (instead, it had an amazing finale where you see wizards wand-dueling). My only complaint with Order of the Phoenix was not its plot, but mainly its delivery. I think Yates is an outstanding director (especially after seeing Half-Blood Prince), but his transition from television film to Hollywood film could not have been made more apparent than in this film. There were parts that I felt Yates was not able to handle a Hollywood production as effectively as a more experienced director such as Alfonso Cuaron and Chris Columbus would. There were scenes that lacked the proper intensity or scenes that ruined the credibility of this medieval-looking fantasy world. An example would be a scene where Filch sits in front of the Room of Requirement to wait for the students to leave. While he waits, he is sitting on a chair with a foldable table in front and a thermus on top (two objects that seemed very out of place for this dark and surreal setting); but, then again, that might have been Yates's intention (bringing the real world to Hogwarts). Another example would be when the trio arrive at Hogwarts and are seated in the Great Hall; here, Dumbledore's speech is handled in too much of a mundane way. In all the other films prior, Dumbledore's speech marked the beginning of the adventure at Hogwarts, but here, it became too routine and slightly boring. Luckily, this was something Yates realized and fixed in Half-Blood Prince, where he gave Dumbledore the proper close-up he deserved as well as a moving, metallic owl to mark the beginning of his foreboding speech. On the up side, Yates is an amazing filmmaker, and he does some really great work here. In my opinion, this was the first Harry Potter movie to develop J.K. Rowling's strong themes of good and evil. The scenes where Harry is having internal struggles are very well-done; so well done that they brought to mind classic films such as the Star Wars pictures. When he confronts Voldemort at the end of this film, he doesn't do so physically, but it proves to be more of a psychological showdown; and it is done extremely well. In fact, Yates did this so well that I was left extremely satisfied after watching the film because I felt that the most importand aspect of J.K. Rowling's book was adapted masterfully onscreen. Could it have been done better? Maybe! But, all I know is that Yates was able to achieve it effectively, and that was good enough for me. I really recommend this movie. It's not perfect, but it's entertaining and it proves that children's entertainment can be challenging, thought-provoking, and powerful.

My daughter is a huge HP fan and she really likes it on Blu-Ray due to the improved image quality as well as all the additional features.

Same as other review. Love Harry Potter movies and this one is great as are the others. Can't wait for the final two movies.

Delivered before i expected it, and was in perfect condition for a great christmas present.

Alas! The fifth Harry Potter film has arrived. The time is long past that this can be considered a simple "children's" series--though children and adults alike will enjoy it immensely. Starting off from the dark and tragic ending of the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix begins in a somber and angst-filled tone that carries through the entire 138 minutes (the shortest of any HP movie despite being adapted from the longest book)...

Disappointed in this company. Items never arrived and the company never called to let me know. They refunded my money, but I would have rather had the merchandise. Items were for a theme birthday party. Son pretty disappointed.
